What’s Included

• Accommodation: All accommodation for the duration of the tour — hotels and motels at each overnight stop, not camping.
• Meals: Breakfast and dinner each day, plus lunch stops built into the itinerary.
• Scenic flight: The scenic flight over Lake Eyre — this is not an optional add-on, it’s built into the tour price.
• Transport: All ground transport in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for the duration of the tour.
• Guide: An experienced guide who drives, narrates, and manages the logistics of the trip throughout.
• Site entry fees: Entry fees to sites that require them along the route.

What’s Generally Not Included

• Flights to and from Adelaide: Getting yourself to Adelaide before the tour departs, and home again afterwards.
• Pre or post-tour accommodation: If you need accommodation the night before departure or after the tour ends, this is arranged separately.
• Travel insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is not included in the tour price and we recommend arranging your own before departure.
• Drinks and incidentals: Alcoholic drinks at meals, and any incidental purchases along the way — souvenirs, extra snacks, personal items.

We include the scenic flight because we consider it a core part of the experience, not an add-on — treating it as optional would mean some travellers missing what we think is genuinely the highlight of the trip, simply because they didn’t realise how significant it was before booking. Our smaller group size costs more per person than a large coach tour would, but we think the experience quality justifies it.
