We thoroughly enjoyed the Gekko safari and are full of admiration for Sandra’s part in the Lake Eyre experience. For over fifteen years I acted as site coordinator/local guide for US Elderhostel tour groups in North Queensland. Thus I could appreciate what a sterling job Sandra was doing as guide/coordinator/driver/ BBQ cook/etc, etc.
It was a great experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and hopefully so far may have encouraged a cousin and some acquaintances to think about doing the Gekko thing.
